Asian Traditions

Ritual and material culture from beyond India — the wider map Latitude & Life is drawn from.

A Nataraja figure, Ayurvedic and yoga texts, and a copper bottle and tumbler beside a wood panel carved with calligraphy.

Beyond India

India is where Latitude & Life started, but the philosophy of ritual, natural materials, and mindful daily practice runs across much of Asia — Japanese tea ceremony, Himalayan singing-bowl traditions, and countless regional practices around craft and daily life.

What's here today, and what's next

Today's collection is built entirely around Indian copper and kansa craft. As Latitude & Life grows, we intend to bring in authentic material and ritual traditions from elsewhere in Asia — sourced directly and credited properly, not repackaged from a stock catalog.
